Lot 391: Chippendale walnut desk and bookcase circa 1770-1780 upper section with molded cornice over pair of glazed cupboard doors flanked by fluted quarter columns; lower section with slant lid enclosing interior fitted with center prospect door centered by document drawers flanked on either side by four valanced pigeon holes over two short above one long drawer, the case fitted with four graduated long drawers flanked by fluted quarter columns on bracket feet. Condition: bookcase section missing glass pane; paint stains on right side of desk, height 86.25", width 38", diameter 21.5"

Condition: split down right and left side of case, minor scratches on feet, repair on front of 2nd long drawer from bottom, cornice damaged on left side. 60 3/4" high, 40 1/2" wide, 22 1/2" deep
