Lot 542: Miniature brass New Haven carriage clock; runs briefly, needs cleaning, missing an end glass, 3" to top of handle.

Lot 543: English sterling silver carriage clock with French movement floral repousse case with Birmingham touch marks, enameled dial missing an hour hand on French movement. Condition: all four button feet distorted, otherwise good, running condition unknown. Height to top of handle 3.75", handle 2" wide.

Lot 545: Iron front New Haven victorian mantle clock with gold stenciled floral & castle decoration, MOP inlay, seems to run and strike on the hour; 20" high. Case marked "16" in back.

Lot 546: Mahogany Chippendale tall case clock with engraved brass dial signed John Wood, Philadelphia, with the case having a style from about 1790 to 1810, the movement from about 1740-50, apparently original cedar seatboard fits up nicely to interior dial frame in bonnet. Case with replaced feet, some veneer and inlay patches. 94" tall

Lot 548: 18th C. American clock movement with a 12" square face and signed Joseph Hollinshead. There are no weights, pendulum or pullies.

Lot 549: Cherry Queen Anne tall case clock. Engraved brass dial. Bearing a rectangular name boss engraved "Pearson & Hollinshead, Burlington". The dial face is made in 2 parts. It has a round engraved boss in the arch depicting an eagle with the phrase "Tempus Fugit". The bonnet door has separated from the right column and needs to be reglued. The waist has a few chips around the arched molded edge at the top, apparently original engraved as cutchen. The molding around the base if the clock is original, has a 3/4" thick board has been nailed to the underside of the clock. 87.2" tall

Lot 552: New Jersey Federal inlaid mahogany tall case clock c. 1790-1820 with scrolled pediment over astragal shaped glazed door enclosing floral painted dial, flanked by free standing columns over waisted case with arched cupboard door flanked by inlaid quarter columns above case with stringing and rope inlay above shaped apron on French feet, height 85", width 18" and diameter 9". Condition: feet replaced.

Probably original finials. 31.5" tall, paper label, bottom one third of back board needs to be refastened, original scrollboard and feet, right rear leg reglued, crank, pendulum, and weights.

Clock 14" high with a single hand, a bust portrait of Columbus carved into the crest "Anno 1492" in bottom crest.
