Condition: several small sections of cross bandings missing, 85 1/2" high, 18" wide, 8 1/2" diameter

Dock, roman numerals, second hand and calander apeture, great decoration of an eagle and inscription "Tempus Fugit", an English movement added this American case at a later date, waisted case with shaped covered door and canted corners, base reduced in height by about 6". Condition" crazing in finish, damage to finish on canted corners on right side of case, specks of paint in right side base, 87 3/4" high, 18" wide, 11 1/2" deep.
