Lot 459: Italian Neoclassical gilt and painted pine tall-case clock, late 18th C., probably Venetian, square bonnet with domical top surmounted with giltwood acorn form finial over glazed front door and sides exposing a period brass dial with applied leafy spandrels on green enameled ground surrounding a chapter ring of Roman numerals, all above a straight trunk of gree-ground molded panels with gilt moldings atop a protruding rectangular base, dial too small for the bonnet, case with significant paint loss and repainting of gilt areas, 78" tall x 9 1/4" wide x 6 1/2" deep

Round dial with Arabic numerals and seconds aperature in conforming case swiveling between octagonal supports with urn finials, on oval base. 5.5" high x 6.5" wide x 3" deep.
