Lot 368A: 65 pcs Qing Dynasty blue Fitzhugh armorial Chinese Export porcelain with gilt decoration, the Crest of Halford of Paddock House, nr Canterbury, Kent, centered in each piece, with initials CMG, and the motto "Virtus in actione consistit", consisiting of nine 4.5" bowls, six 3.5" bowls, twelve 2.5" coffee cups, ten 5.25" saucers, nine 5.75" saucers, seven 6.25" saucers, nine 7.75" plates, two 8.75" bowls, one 5.75" bowl, decoration likely added on it's arrival in England, this set is illustrated in "Chinese Armorial Porcelain" by David Howard, 1974, p. 974, 2 pcs with hairline cracks, generallly excellent condition.
